Terms of Service

Pindicate lets you upload a video, image, or PDF — or capture a web page — and get a link you can send to a client or teammate. The person who opens the link types their name and leaves comments and markup directly on your work. They don't need an account.

Pindicate has a free plan and paid plans. Free costs nothing, needs no card, and does not expire. Pro is $12 a month, or $96 a year if you pay yearly. Custom is $79 a month plus a build fee we quote per project, and is not self-serve.

Every plan has limits — how many reviews you can have open at once, how large a single file can be, how much you can store, and how many web pages you can capture per day. We show you these limits and what you've used. They exist so one account can't overwhelm the service for everyone else.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, which handles your card details — we never see or store them. You can cancel at any time from Settings, and you keep Pro through the period you have already paid for. You can also earn free months of Pro by referring other people, up to 12 months.

If we change what a plan costs or what it includes, we'll tell you before it affects you, and nothing you are already paying for changes mid-period.

You agree not to use Pindicate to:

• Upload or capture illegal content.
• Upload anything you don't have the right to upload — someone else's copyrighted work, confidential material you're not allowed to share, and so on.
• Abuse the web page capture feature — for example, hammering it with requests, scraping sites at scale, or using it to attack, overload, or scan a site you don't own.

We can suspend or close an account that does any of this.

You own everything you upload. Using Pindicate only gives us the license we need to store it, back it up, and show it to the people you share a link with — nothing more. We don't use your content for anything else, and we don't claim ownership of it.

By default a share link is a long, random, hard-to-guess address. Anyone who has the link can view it and leave comments, whether or not you meant to send it to them. Treat a link like that the way you'd treat a link to an unlisted video: private in practice, not truly secret.

On Pro you can put a password on a review. A password-protected link asks for that password before it shows anything, so it is not merely unlisted — but it is only as private as the password you choose and who you give it to.

Either way, if a link ends up somewhere you didn't intend, you can turn it off from your dashboard and it stops working immediately.

We don't promise a specific uptime or response time, on any plan. We work to keep Pindicate reliable, but things can break, and we're not liable for the consequences of downtime. If Pindicate is unavailable long enough to matter to a plan you're paying for, get in touch and we'll put it right.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone. Doing so permanently deletes your files, your workspace, and your sign-in — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what that removes. We can also suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe is a risk to the service or other people using it.

Pindicate is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including lost files, lost time, or lost business. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

We may update these terms as Pindicate changes. If we make a change that matters, we'll try to let you know. Continuing to use Pindicate after a change means you accept the new terms.
