Pindicate
Client feedback tool

Client feedback on the work, right where it belongs.

Send your client one link to the design, video, website or PDF. They click the spot and type the note, with no account to make. You get every note in one list, and on Pro, the approval in writing.

Feedback on the work, not a survey about you

Most “client feedback tools” are survey apps that ask customers to rate your service. Pindicate is different. It's a client proofing tool: your client reviews the logo, the cut or the landing page itself, and every note points at the spot it's about.

How it works

  1. Upload the work

Drop in a file or paste a website link. Your review link is ready in about 10 seconds.

  2. Send one link

Paste it in an email, a text or Slack. Your client opens it and comments, no account.

  3. Read, fix, get the yes

Every note is on the spot it's about. Fix them, send the next round, and get it approved.

Feedback on the spot

Your client clicks the thing they mean

No more “the bit near the top.” Your client clicks on the design, the page or the frame and types the note right there. They can circle, box or draw a line if a click isn't enough. Every note lands in one list, in order, with their name on it.

  • Pins on images, PDFs and web pages
  • Notes at the exact second on video and audio
  • Circles, boxes and lines for the tricky ones

Designs, videos, websites and documents, one way to comment

Video, audio, images, PDFs, websites (paste a link), HTML files, Word docs, Google Docs and Slides, and emails. Put up to 20 files on one link and your client comments on each one the same way. There's no per-file size limit.

Clients never sign up

Your client opens the link, types their name and starts commenting. No account, no password, no app, on a laptop or a phone. If they leave an email, they hear back when you reply to their note.

Reply, fix, resolve

Reply under any note to ask a question. Tick a note off as you fix it and it moves to Resolved, so you and your client can both see what's done and what's left. You get an email when new feedback comes in.

Approval in writing, on the right version

When your client is happy they click Approve. Their name and the date are saved on that version, and you get an email. Round two goes on the same link as round one, so nobody approves an old file.

  • Approve button on every review link
  • Versions on the same link, history kept
  • Email to you the moment they approve

Quiet clients get a friendly nudge

Turn on reminders when you share. Pindicate emails your client after three quiet days, then once more three days later. It stops for good as soon as they comment or approve.

Questions about client feedback

What is a client feedback tool?

A client feedback tool collects a client's notes on your work in one place, tied to the exact spot each note is about. Instead of an email that says “the logo near the top,” the client clicks on the logo and types. Pindicate does this for designs, videos, websites, PDFs and documents.

Is Pindicate a survey or NPS tool?

No. Survey tools ask customers to rate your service. Pindicate is for getting a client's feedback on the work itself: a logo, a video cut, a web page or a brochure, so you can make the changes and get it approved.

Do my clients need an account?

No. They open the link, type their name and start commenting. No password, no app and nothing to install, on a computer or a phone.

Is there a free client feedback tool?

Yes. Pindicate's Free plan gives you 3 active reviews at a time and 5 GB of storage, with every file type and no per-file size limit. Your clients always review for free.

How do clients approve the work?

On Pro, every review link has an Approve button. When your client clicks it, their name and the date are saved on that version and you get an email.

What can clients give feedback on?

Video, audio, images, PDFs, websites by link, HTML files, Word docs, Google Docs and Slides, and emails.

Can clients leave feedback on a phone?

Yes. The review link works in a phone browser. Clients tap the spot to leave a note, the same way they click on a computer.

How much does it cost?

Free to start. Pro is $12 a month or $96 a year, flat, with unlimited active reviews, 100 GB, versions, approvals, reminders, your logo and up to 5 teammate logins.
